Parenting
Parenting class centers around the concept of developing personal and parental boundaries with children through teens. Part of the class is developed and written by Henry Cloud and John Townsend.
This is a four-week class that focuses on the following skill areas:
• Consequences
• Motivation
• Respect
• Responsibility
• Evaluation of one’s behavior
• Proactivity
• Envy/Insecurity
• Practice of Positive Reinforcement
• Expectations/Goals
Court-ordered parenting for adolescents may require 8 weeks. Sessions 5-8 would be by appointment. A letter and certificate of completion are given at the end of the class, if your account is paid in full. The cost is $25 per person per class session.
